Bunk beds have really evolved in the past 10 years. You are not just limited to tubular white or stained wood. It seems as though imagination is the limit when it comes to designing and installing these in your kids bedroom. Bunks are a fabulous solution in holiday homes or to create more space in a shared room.
These bunks have been designed to be a room within a room. I thinks they are so clever and stylish, especially the windows and light pendants & the colour scheme.
These built in bunks have sweet little curtains to draw across to make your bed cozy and like a little cubby. With bunks different coloured bedding looks great, just keep something consistent like style or pattern
This built in bunk wall is my favourite design. The ladder has more of a staircase style and the joinery is amazing. Love the recess area to have books etc for each bed and those lights are brilliant. One even there for ladder area. This is the inspiration for our 6 year old twins who desperately plea for bunk beds. This on all accounts this will make sleepovers simple & oh so much fun.
If you don’t have one long wall, what about a corner double built in bunk. Great idea to have wallpaper on the wall of each bed.
I think having a wall in a corner bunk (as above) is better option if you have the space. Having pillows so close to the end of the other bed……you had better hope your bunk mates are not restless sleepers.
I will definitely have to run this past our builder and see if we can create a big bunk wall for our boys. Will let you know if we go ahead.
