This is is my dream country house, the stunning home of radio host Jackie O located in Kangaroo Valley in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
Jackie and her husband Lee built the home on their property and I am in love with it all, the location, the contemporary homestead design, paint colours through to the timber panelling inside.
The pool with the infinity edge looks amazing with the beautiful bush backdrop.
What I truely love about the design of this home is that they have made a seemless blend of contemporary with modern Australian country style.
I wish I had an image of the kitchen, I can see they have built a traditional style fireplace surround for the stove. So even though it a brand new home, it looks as if it has been here for 100 years. LOVE IT.

The bedrooms are configured to suit guests with super comfortable beds and simple yet stylish designs.
When using a lot of white or neutral colours throughout a house the key to getting a balanced “warm” look (not too clinical) is to have texture.
The wood panelling on the walls is the perfect way to achieve this.
Watching the sun set and hearing the crackling of the fire and sharing this home with family and friends….Jackie & Lee have created a fabulous home.

Hi Melissa, Dreyfus has a lot more brown than this…try Dulux Stepney and see if you like that. Good Luck!
Hi Ange & Marissa, its really hard to tell the exact colour as the images are sometimes lighted as suggested above try Dulux Stepney if you are after a lovely exterior grey.
