Hi Angie
I have just discovered your site. It is a great source of inspiration, thank you. Especially the exterior colours guide. We live in a small coastal town and we are starting to think about what colours to use on the exterior of our house. As usual for most people our funds are limited and we will be doing most of the work, so I have to leave the current roof tiles and work with them somehow. They aren’t the best colour, but I look forward to reading more of your posts to help me with my decisions. Cheers Kelly
Hi Kelly, Just remember that you can work with the current roof tiles, but you can also work towards a long term goal of having them resprayed or replaced. Think about what colour you would change them to if you could and find an image to stick on your fridge or project scrapbook. Things cant always change as quick as we like, but it can happen if you stay focused on a final “look” that you want to acheive. Good luck and keep checking in for more ideas and inspiration. {A}
Hi Angie,
I live in the tropics and have bronzed anodised window frame. I have chosen to go with Loft for my gutter and exposed steel beams (roof to replaced the same later) could you give me some ideas for the fasica and the wall. I’m just not sure and I’m running out of wall for the sample paints!!
thanks Susan
Hi Susan I love Loft. So many people have no idea of this lovely deep colorbond colour. If your house is weatherboard I would go surfmist for the facia or you could go loft as well. I like the facia to seperate the roof from the house. The wall colour ……there are thousands of colours cant help you select one there, sorry.
